Privacy Policy

What personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it.

Last updated: 12 September 2026

About this policy

This policy explains how Try-H-Go (“we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit our website, place an order, create an account or send us a message.

We handle your information in line with applicable Egyptian law, including the Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).

Information we collect

We only ask for what we need:

  • When you order: your name, mobile number, delivery address (governorate, city and address details), your email address if you choose to give it, and any delivery notes you add.
  • If you create an account: the details you sign up with, such as your email address and name, and the orders placed with your account.
  • When you contact us: what you send through our contact or wholesale forms, such as your name, business details, phone number, email address and message.
  • When you browse: basic technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider may keep in short-term logs for security.

We never ask for card or bank details on our website — orders are paid in cash on delivery.

How we use it

  • To prepare, confirm and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
  • To reply to your messages and wholesale inquiries.
  • To run your account and show your order history, if you have one.
  • To protect our store against fraud and abuse and keep our website secure.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send you marketing messages unless you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

We share information only as far as needed to run our store:

  • Delivery partners — your name, mobile number and address, so they can deliver your order.
  • Supabase — hosts our database and customer accounts.
  • Vercel — hosts our website.
  • Our email delivery provider — sends order and inquiry notifications to our team.
  • Public authorities — only when the law requires it.

These providers process information on our behalf and may store it on servers outside Egypt. We choose established providers that protect data with appropriate security measures.

Cookies and local storage

We use only what the website needs to work. Your shopping cart and language choice are saved in your browser, and if you sign in, a secure cookie keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them to deliver your order, handle returns and meet legal and accounting requirements.

Messages and inquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer and follow up on them, and are then deleted. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account details, but we may keep order records that we are required to keep.

Keeping it safe

Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to customer information is limited to the people who need it, and orders reach our database only through controlled server functions. No system is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy.
  • Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete your information when we no longer need to keep it.
  • Stop any optional use of your information you previously agreed to.

To make a request, contact us using the phone number or email address you used with us, so we can confirm it is you. We will reply as soon as we can.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed, and important changes will be highlighted on our website.
